Sort of.

So Law Professor @ UCLA Eugene Volokh examined the Iranian system of capital punishment and came up with some startling statements vis a vis cruelty and its use in punishment. (That's a collected post page - just start at the top and read your way down). Now that the back-and-forth over Same Sex Marriage has subsided a little, I propose we move on to the topic raised by the professor - should make for some lively discussion!
